i love the month's birthdays. i mean whats not to love? another day to celebrate the good things in life! while there might be some or even several crappy things happening to you (for instance the lack of electricity in baton rouge right now or my wonderful computer, 4, not wanting to turn on and has now landed himself in the emergency geek room) there are still many blessings to be thankful for!
the month's birthday's are a time to enjoy a delicious treat, celebrate with friends, be thankful for the things that have happened in that month already, as well as excited for the upcoming future!
i have decided to surprise marshall (i know what a good wife i am) with his favorite muffins, lemon poppy seed with a lemon glaze. ooh sounds fancy smanzy huh? well they are rather delish but made straight out of a box! haha! so today in honor of september, when he gets off of work, we will light the 9 candles (9 because that is how many letters is in the word "september" and because it happens to be 9/9, sept's bday number!) and sing happy birthday to a wonderful new month and the surprises that lay ahead (i pray it be a job for me! fingers crossed)
as for now, i will leave you all to celebrate september in style!
