marsh picked out a rotasseire (whatever) chicken for himself, and then together we created the rest of the menu: the original (and marsh's favorite) green bean casserole, roasted garlic mashed potatoes (fancy i know), yummy dinner rolls, and a fresh fruit salad with honey yogurt dressing. we even cut open our very
the next day, actual thanksgiving day, i woke up to enjoy the macy's thanksgiving day parade. oh yeah, i enjoy parades! it was enjoyable and put me in the spirit of thankgiving!
our first stop was our friend pete's aunt's house. we hung out with his family for awhile & dined on some yummy food! my favorite thing was the sweet potatoes which i just started to like.
our second stop of the day was the house of our bible study leaders. they have a gorgeous home and our super sweet. there was a blend of families there so that made for excitement. i love meeting new people! the dinner was amazing as well and my favorite dish was the carrot souffle (yes you read that right, it was amazing!)
so after 4 thanksgivings, yes 4, we also had one in baton rouge with our friends which was delish as well, i can safely say i am stuffed!
and now ready for christmas!!!!
