last week we discovered radnor lake! its literally 6 miles from our apartment and is full of several hiking trails. we spent a couple of hours walking the trails. we took an easy one without noticing where we were going and then we found a difficult one that allowed us to hike up the mountain. it was amazing weather, not too hot at all. the best part was the deer. the lake area is packed full of deer all over the place! the deer here are not scared of you by any means. at one point, one deer crossed the trail and just stood in the middle of our trail. (notice the picture above! you can tell where the walking path is and the woods begin) we just kept walking by it and it just moved off to the side ever so slightly. it was amazing. i also saw deer wading into the lake which is something i have never seen before! my favorite part of our outing was on the difficult hike i noticed a chipmunk! i have never seen one in real life before. thank goodness for cartoons, they teach you so much- including how to spot a chipmunk! so much cooler than squirrels for sure!i would leave yall with more pics of our adventure but unfortunately we had technical difficulties with the camera and the pictures mostly came out blurry. bummer!
Just in case yall our missing our wonderful faces, i have included a picture of us in front of radnor lake! (now keep in mind we have been hiking for a bit so its not the best picture of us!)
