advertising to the gullible

let me tell you how gullible i am when it comes to certain commercials. most commercials are fast food related and make me want to gag but some commercials really suck me in. there is one out there right now about dr schols (whatever) inserts for her. (click the title of this post and you can check out the commercial if your curious) the commercial involves one girl dancing all over the place before jumping into her heels. i dont know what it is, the combo of the music , sweet dance moves, my curiosity, or a combo of all those elements blended together i was dying to try a pair.
luckily i fell in love with the most amazing pair of black pumps ever. i found them after walking into offbroadway shoes out at opryland this past sunday, which for anyone with a serious shoe addiction i do not recommend going in there. i walked out with 2 pair of shoes when i walked in just merely wanting to browse. but these are not just impulse buys i tell you, i truly am in love with both pairs of shoes. one being short, suede, grey boots by steve madden (incredible) and my fabulous new black pumps by michael shannon. i am a dedicated flats girl but after these heels i just might have turned a new leaf.
anyways i digress, i was suckered into purchasing some dr schols inserts for my new heels today. i immediately came home to try out my new insoles. feeling pretty good so far.
i am wearing my fabulous new shoes for my interview tomorrow. i think i will crank up some jams, dance around, stand on my bed, and jump into my heels as i get ready tom. you know, because i can do that now that i added the dr schols inserts! ;)
