anyways, i have officially deemed the past week of my life completely unlucky. its been a whirlwind of down fallings since around last thursday. my adorable little nephew was hospitalized with pnemonia (but thank the Lord he is out and doing worlds better! yay!) my favorite cat in the whole world died last thursday. i was never attached to a dog growing up so mittens was my dog. i had her since i was 5 years old and we were close. that was rough. complications with my work came up, LSU did not have a good day, cowboys lost which was rough on marsh (whom i have to live with), my dad got really sick (but is doing so much better), and my computer hasn't turned on since tuesday. much more big explosions and life altering decisions have been made in the course of one week (no, one not being a divorce! ;) haha) its just been one heck of an unlucky week! i am praying that i wake up tom and things have changed for the better! maybe it was just one unlucky week! i sure hope so because i dont know how much more i can take!
my stomach can no longer take it and my tear ducts are dry.
BUT, on a more positive note i wanted to share a fabulous opportunity that happened to me last monday (fabulous because it was before thursday, doomed day)
i was in the midst of finishing another horrible day at my job, when i was presented with the opportunity to have 2 tickets to something with taylor swift. for those of you who ma

y not know, taylor swift is a fabulous country artist who i love. i am country at heart, what can i say? the tickets were for that night. i had no clue what exactly i was getting myself into but i agreed for marsh and i to take the tickets. come to find out, it was a taping of cmt's crossroads. a show in which a country artist t
eams up with another genre artist to sing each others songs. this particular episode was taylor swift with def leppard. oh yeah, pour some sugar on me combined with should have said no. i didn't know much about def leppard but i fell in love with them! the taping was so cool, the show was invitation only (this was the only good thing about my job, i got the tickets!). taylor and def operated fabulously together on st

age. it was hilarious to see def sing taylor's country ballads. and taylor rocked def's songs! the episode will air in nov so tune in because you just might be able to catch a glimpse of me and marsh! not to mention it was a really enjoyable show, so i think everyone would really like it! both artists were genuinely great performers which makes it all the more enjoyable! and proves that they actually have the talent they claim to posses! the interesting thing about seeing an artist live is that you actually tend to appreciate them more. i already loved taylor but she really was a fantastic performer which made me love her even more. i hadn't really listened to def leppard but i am in love with them now! they are officially on my ipod!
so i don't mean to be sad sally with the beginning of my post, which is why i opted to share a positive story at the end! hey life isn't always laughs, smiles, and fireworks, its also rough at the same time. in the end i have tons to be thankful for even through my unlucky week! i have an amazingly blessed life thanks to God!
thanks God!
