it is funny how your mind works. it is actually silly to tell you the truth. after we moved here we discovered the most amazing place ever. it is called the flying saucer (there are several locations all around, the picture is the one in missouri ). the flying saucer is a heaven for beer lovers having in stock thousands of beers. marsh loves this but as for me i am not a beer lover. i did try the woodchuck amber, which is cider, and fell in love. we made it a goal to relax at the flying saucer every monday night. we would chill out and watch some of the monday night football game. every time i would get a woodchuck amber and the most amazing pretzels i have ever tasted in my life. they come in two along with a cream cheese dipping sauce and oh my i almost go into food comotose! anyways, the place is a great place to get together with people after work. i had started to notice the people around us in groups, obviously people who work together as well as friends who decided to meet up with each other at the flying saucer. while i love dining with marshall, i always wanted to join a group at the flying saucer one time too! it is a random dream of mine i know but it def came true last week!
we have a friend here who is pursuing his musical dreams and had a gig last thursday night. we went out in support of chris (which by the way, he was great! he has a fantastic voice) one day we will be able to say "i knew him when....." haha
after the gig a group of us (17 people to be exact!) opted to head to the flying saucer. it was conviently located to where we were and great parking! so, last thursday night, a rainy night nonetheless, i had a dream come true. sitting at the flying saucer with a big group enjoying the night and not to mention the amazingly wonderful pretzels! having this dream come true was the breaking of my unlucky week! now i have good luck!

i guess you can say i am pretty simple person if that was a dream of mine. or you could say i am a social person who longed for a group of friends in our new city! well, we have been in here almost 3 months now (wow!) and we are def heading in the right direction on the way to gaining friends! yay! and to accomplish my dream of dining with a group of people at the flying saucer within the first 3 months is quite an accomplishment, if i do say so myself!
so for all you dreamers out there- don't quit dreaming! i know i still am!
